Goals for the 2014-2016 Biennium:

1.  Provide stimulating topics of interest for working and retired members.

2.  Continue with altruistic projects.

3. Network within our Beta Eta chapter creating stronger bonds within our sisterhood.

4.  Increase membership.

5.  Initiate new committee:  Violet Volunteers

 Purposes:  a.  Our sisterhood extends not only caring thoughts to those within our organization in need, but also offers assistance.

                  b.  Offers assistance to members who need help in their school setting.

6.  Have fun!! 

Kim Gerould - Excellence in Education

Kim Gerould was honored at the 2014 California State Convention as California's Excellence in Education winner.  She was also recognized at the Southwest Regional Conference in Wyoming.  We are proud of her!

Membership Statistics

As of October 1, 2015 Alpha Delta Kappa has 32,323 members in1263 chapters, with 41 percent of the membership not actively engaged/employed, in education.

California currently has 54 chapters with 1260 members.

Sierra Council's two chapters, our own Beta Eta, and Beta Tau, Chico, are the two largest chapters in the state.
